A special stamp was issued to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the first Rotary club on the internet, Rotary E-Club One, intended foruse by those who are unable to attend a regular meeting.

Designed by Monica Pérez de Larraya of Spain, the final artwork was prepared by Gabrielle Serrière of San Francisco, California. The stamp features a blue and yellow Rotary emblem with a blue anniversary inscription beneath it. A blue globe at the right has yellow arrows encircling it.

Issued in Boulder, Colorado, this was a joint issue with France (see FRANCE, page 29).The design of the French stamp is the same except that it is printed in the French language. Comment E-clubs were made a permanent part of Rotary International at the Council on Legislation in 2010. E-Club One was formed by a group of Rotarians in Boulder, Colorado USA and chartered as a pilot project in January 2002.

The club now has members in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. An unissued essay by Emmanuel Serrière was rejected as the final design in favor of the stamp prepared by his daughter.
